Ayana Lugo

Ayana’s people skills made her a productive member of the Player Development team at PMI (Professional Management Inc.), and helped her transition successfully into business and sales. As a special projects Business Analyst at EDS (Electronic Data Systems), she created programs which changed the deny/pay process of the North Carolina Department of Mental Health and North Carolina Medicaid and Medicare claims.

As a New Homes Counselor and New Homes Information Manager with Beazer Homes USA, Ayana sold two new construction, single-family home communities of more than 100 home sites each, simultaneously increasing sales by more than 50% at each location. While attaining sales success with Beazer Homes USA, Ayana consistently maintained a service rating of #1 or #2 in the nation among all New Homes Counselors selling in active communities.

Currently, Ayana is a member of the executive committee of the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) in association with Kennedy Krieger Institute. For the second consecutive year, she is also a co-chair for the Art of Giving fashion show fundraiser to benefit Kennedy Krieger Institute and Baltimore School for the Arts. Her dedication to philanthropy has been rewarded with the 2012 “Rising Stars” honor from the Living Classrooms Foundation.

Ayana received her Bachelor of Arts in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
