[October 12, 2021], Timonium, M.D. – Curio Wellness today announced that it has hired Rob Bellezza as the company’s new Chief Operations Officer.
Bellezza brings over two decades of supply chain, strategic planning, and operations experience to Curio Wellness. Rob comes to Curio from Unilever, where he held several leadership roles at multiple companies within the supply chain, procurement, and integration functions at both regional and global levels. This includes nine years as the Head of Operations at Ben & Jerry’s, a Unilever company, where he spearheaded expansion of the facilities, embedded World Class Manufacturing and delivered sustainable efficiencies. Most recently, Rob served as Head of Supply Chain overseeing the End-to-End operations for Seventh Generation, also a Unilever company.
Bellezza will play a key role leading the Curio teams to produce consistently high-quality market leading flower and the manufacture of branded products safely, efficiently, cost effectively and to cGMP quality standards. Rob will help lead a best-in-class company culture, establish best practices for all processes in the context of a lean management system, set the standard for operational excellence and superior customer service – what we refer to at Curio as “customer delight.”

As COO, Bellezza will play an integral role in leading Curio’s next phase of growth as the company expands its manufacturing footprint in Maryland. Rob will lead the operations of all wholesale business including manufacturing, cultivation, facilities, security, transportation, and inventory management.
