On March 30th, Governor Hogan announced a “Stay at Home” order for the State of Maryland. As an essential service, Curio Wellness will remain open to continue to ensure you have the medicine you need during this time. Below you will find more information on steps we have taken to respond to COVID-19.
The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an urgent concern for individuals and businesses across the country and around the world. The Curio Wellness family is doing everything possible to keep our employees, customers and patients safe while continuing to provide the highest quality medicinal cannabis in the industry. Now more than ever, we value your trust in Curio Wellness to do the right thing.
We’re monitoring and following all guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and any bulletins from the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) on regulatory changes as the response to COVID-19 evolves. Our team is committed to taking the steps necessary to reduce the threat of exposure to our employees, customers and patients. Our plant and Wellness Center remain open in order to meet our commitment to you and your medical needs.
At our plant, we have always had an extensive, science-based cleaning procedure of our medical grade equipment and we have increased the frequency throughout the entire process. Per CDC guidelines, our plant team members have also increased hand washing and sanitization.
Curio Wellness has the highest quality medical cannabis growing and manufacturing facilities with stringent guidelines for maintaining a clean environment. We continue to follow our strict hygienic guidelines that apply to all stages of the production lifecycle of our products. Additionally, we have posted digital and printed instructions throughout our facility to reiterate the importance of our hygiene polices and product safety.
At our Wellness Center, pursuant to MMCC and the CDC, we have put in place the following preventive measures:
We will continue to monitor the situation and follow any future recommendations and guidelines from the CDC, the Maryland State Government, MMCC, and others concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19).
